While I'm Waiting

A beautiful song of faith  for the Lord. One of the film soundtrack of  the movie 'Fireproof' sang by John Waller. and 'Fireproof', the  movie is  about a  feuding couple  that was reconciled  through the  love from God's perspective.There is hope everytime I hear this song or sing it when I am alone. In whatever circumstances in any situation, I  believe that hope is always there as long as one seek the faithfulness of God's promise

Si Cristo ang Kapangyarihan at Karunungan ng Diyos

18    Ang mensahe tungkol sa pagkamatay ni Cristo sa krus ay kahangalan para sa mga taong naliligaw ng landas, ngunit ito'y kapangyarihan ng Diyos para sa ating mga naliligtas. 

19 Sapagkat nasusulat, "Sisirain ko ang karunungan ng marurunong at gagawin kong walang saysay ang katalinuhan ng matatalino." 

20    Ano ngayon ang kabuluhan ng marurunong, ng mga tagapagturo ng Kautusan, ng mahuhusay na debatista sa kapanahunang ito? Ipinapakita ng Diyos na ang karunungan ng sanlibutang ito ay pawang kahangalan lamang. 

21    Sapagkat ayon sa karunungan ng Diyos, hindi niya pinahintulutang siya'y makilala ng tao sa pamamagitan ng kanilang karunungan. Sa halip, minarapat niyang iligtas ang mga nagpapasakop sa kanya sa pamamagitan ng Magandang Balita na aming ipinapangaral, na sa tingin ng iba'y isang kahangalan. 

22    Ang mga Judio'y humihingi ng himala bilang katunayan. Karunungan naman ang hinahanap ng mga Griyego. 

23    Ngunit ang ipinapangaral namin ay si Cristo na ipinako sa krus, na para sa mga Judio ay isang katitisuran at para sa mga Hentil ay isang kahangalan. 

24    Subalit sa mga tinawag ng Diyos, maging Judio o maging Griyego, si Cristo ang kapangyarihan at karunungan ng Diyos. 

25    Sapagkat ang inaakala nilang kahangalan ng Diyos ay karunungang higit pa sa karunungan ng tao, at ang inaakala nilang kahinaan ng Diyos ay kalakasang higit pa sa kalakasan ng tao. 

26    Mga kapatid, alalahanin ninyo ang inyong katayuan noong kayo'y tawagin ng Diyos. Iilan lamang sa inyo ang matatawag na marunong, makapangyarihan at maharlika sa paningin ng tao. 

27    Subalit pinili ng Diyos ang mga naturingang hangal sa sanlibutan upang hiyain ang marurunong, at pinili niya ang mga naturingang mahihina upang hiyain ang malalakas. 

28    Pinili niya ang mga pangkaraniwang tao, mga hampas lupa, at mga mahihina sa sanlibutang ito upang ipawalang saysay ang mga kinikilala ng sanlibutan. 

29    Kaya't walang sinumang makakapagmalaki sa harap ng Diyos. 

30    Sa kanya nagmula ang buhay na taglay ninyo dahil sa pakikipag-isa ninyo kay Cristo Jesus na siyang ginawang karunungan natin. Sa pamamagitan din niya, tayo'y itinuring na matuwid, ginawang banal at iniligtas ng Diyos. 

31    Kaya nga, tulad ng nasusulat, "Ang sinumang nais magmalaki, ang ipagmalaki niya'y ang ginawa ng Panginoon.

Jesus Christ is our Hope. Jesus Christ is our Salvation.

The Day Of The Lord

Matthew 25:13
Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour.

Matthew 24:37-39
 37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

 38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

 39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

1 Thessalonians 5
1Now, brothers, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape.

2 Peter 3:10
But the day of the Lord will come like a thief. The heavens will disappear with a roar; the elements will be destroyed by fire, and the earth and everything in it will be laid bare.

Revelation 16:15
"Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed"

Luke 21:27
At that time they will see the Son of Man coming in a cloud with power and great glory.

We did not follow cleverly invented stories when we told you about the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, but we were eyewitnesses of his majesty

17Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

18Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

The Mighty God

You belittle the greatness of  God. But if you read a comic book hero let say green lantern you will believe that GL can do many things and can be at many places at the same time. You will be more amazed at those xmen comic fantasy with their different powers. If you'll allow me I will give you time how the One true God who is a Spirit in  nature can have a physical body born in a manger and what is the purpose why He has to suffer and die in the cross of calvary.His name is Jesus. The God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. The Alpha and Omega.

And why do you say 'peace be upon Him' every time you mention His name. He from the start is the peace that we need. Jesus is the Prince of Peace. The peace that He gives is far more different  than any peace that this world can offer. Even to the point of death every people that have accepted Christ truly in their heart have gained that kind of peace.

Paul, the apostle, in the brink of death and in chain for preaching the gospel of salvation that Jesus brought here in this world, was still singing songs of praise to God. That is the peace that God can make  to every men that accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour of their life. He even said 'To live is Christ, to die is gain'.

Do you know Paul? Paul, a jew, having a name of Saul in the previous life, was one of the persecutors of Jesus Christ followers. He was one of the cruel leaders of the jew that hunted and killed Christians (follower of Christ). Paul being a jew knows and believe that there is one God, I agree, and that is very true even in the days of Adam, Noah, Abraham, etc.

Here is one encounter of Jesus with the jews then when He was preaching the good news of salvation.

John Chapter 10
30 I and the Father are one.”

31 Again the Jews picked up stones to stone him,
32 but Jesus said to them, “I have shown you many great miracles from the Father. For which of these do you stone me?”

33 “We are not stoning you for any of these,” replied the Jews, “but for blasphemy, because you, a mere man, claim to be God.”

As you can see here the jews was not really  mad at Jesus for the many miracles He made ( healing the sick, making water into wine, casting out demons, etc.) but they are mad for they can not believe that these man they see in front of them claim to be God in the very way He said that He and the Father are one. You will not say abdul, that you and allah are one for that is blasphemy in your belief. And IF you were a jew at that time, you are one among those who will stone Jesus.

Prophecy of Isaiah before the child in the manger was born

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

And So This Is Christmas-The Gift

It's christmas time. This is a tradition that people celebrate because of the birth of Jesus Christ. But who is Jesus Christ? Do we really know Him? Who is He to you? Why as a baby He wants to be killed by  King Herod? In christmas traditions, men  give gifts to their loved ones. Yes 'loved ones'. But have you ever thought that Jesus gave a gift to people who are not loveable in our own standards like murderers, thief, malicious thoughts, liars,etc. yes also liars.

Men acquired  sin because of the disobedience of our first parent, Adam & Eve. and because of that disobedience the curse of being sinful in nature has been brought to people generation after generation. For it says in

Romans 3:
20 Therefore no one will be declared righteous in God’s sight by the works of the law; rather, through the law we become conscious of our sin.
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of  God

Psalm 14:
3 All have turned aside, they have together become corrupt; there is no one who does good, not even one.


People in the olden times were forgiven through intercession of the prophets who offered the best sacrifice like lambs and other livestock ask by God from the prophets, in the days of Noah , Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Moses, Joshua  and other prophets of God.

But through Jesus, with the love of God that He gave to the world, the Son of God was slain in the cross of calvary so that we may have life. Not just a physical life that we see here today but a life that we will share with Jesus in God's Kingdom, free of all the burdens that this present world brings. And in Jesus, being the Lamb of God, the full sacrifice was done so that the shedding of His blood on the cross was meant to cleanse each one sin, to those who will BELEIVE in Jesus name and the sacrifice He made in calvary.  

The Greatest Gift 

John 3:16
 16 For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever BELIEVES in him shall not perish but have ETERNAL LIFE.

Ephesians 2
 8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the GIFT of God

How will we accept the GIFT of ETERNAL LIFE God is offering?

Understanding the Gift.

Some people don't really know or in self denial what what is in store for them when they die. But deep inside there is a fear in them , in their consciousness regarding the certainty where their soul will be after their term here on earth finishes.

Our God did not just create  our first parent, Adam & Eve, to bear children just  to live and die physically and to worry & have that fear when the time comes of our physical death.

Yes some say enjoy life and be merry for tomorrow we die. Yes, but there is still that question where we go after.

Even suicidal people are afraid. They commit suicide not because they are brave to face death but there is fear in them that led them to commit the ungodly thing w/c bring forth destruction in their relationship with the Holy God.

Fear that is not from God is Sin, And in nature, men are sinful and the wages of sin is death.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, ....(this is not just any death, for in the nature of men, be he bad or good,  living here in earth will die physically. The death that is being mentioned here is spiritual death where our soul will suffer the eternal punishment  in hell for those who did not believe in that One Holy Sacrifice Of  God)
...but the GIFT of God is ETERNAL LIFE in CHRIST JESUS our Lord.( So there it is. Again the Gift.
And the Gift is Eternal Life in Jesus Christ)
If you are accepting God's Gift of Eternal Life , believe in Jesus , receive Jesus as your personal Saviour & Master in all areas of your life. Yes. All. Repent. Surrender all of your sin and all weaknesses that Jesus wash it by His blood. Pray to Him. Talk to Him. You and God alone are in contact with each other.He knows what is in your heart if you really do want to be a part of His body.

Acts 2:38
 38 Peter replied, “REPENT and be BAPTIZED, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the GIFT of the HOLY SPIRIT.  (The GIFT of the HOLY SPIRIT of Jesus Christ is Eternal Life)

Mark 16:15-16

15 He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation.
16 Whoever BELIEVES and is BAPTIZED  will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.
After accepting truly that Gift,  the Holy Spirit w/c guides us to the way of God's  salvation will counsel us to His truth of righteousness.

John 14
16 And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another COUNSELOR (Isaiah 9:6) to help you and be with you forever— 
17 the Spirit of truth. The world cannot accept him, because it neither sees him nor knows him. But you know him, for he lives with you and will be in you.

Note:
True Belief is  in  thought, in words and in deeds asking for the  Holy Spirit 's help in Jesus Christ  name.

Let us have in our hearts the true meaning of Christmas if Jesus is really the reason for this season and not just a means to fill in our stomach and glorify our self  by our selfrighteous actions. Nothing can be compared to the gift that God through Jesus is offering mankind. The Gift of Eternal Life.

Si Pablo. Ang Tumugis Na Tinugis

Kung iyong babasahin ang Aklat ng Gawa sa Bibliya, si Pablo ay isa sa mga Hudyo at isa sa mataas na Pharisees ng panahon na yon na kumikilala sa iisang Diyos at siya naman ang nararapat. Pero sa makikita mo sa unang kwento ng kanyang buhay ay isa siya sa tumutugis sa kristyano ng panahon na yon at nais niyang patahimikin ang maraming tao na sumasamba sa pangalan ng Panginoon Hesu Kristo noon.

Ginagawa niya ang pag uusig sa pamamagitan ng pananakit, pagpapakulong o maski pagkuha ng buhay ng tao tulad ng pagpapaapruba niya ng kamatayan ni St. Stephen sa (Acts 8:1)

Mabalik tayo sa iisang Diyos. Tama ang mga hudyo ng panahon ni Pablo at maski mga hudyo ngayon  na iisa talaga ang Diyos. Pero ang mga tinutugis ni Pablo ay mga kapwa niya hudyo at mga griyego (wala sa hanay ng hudyo) na naging kristyano na dahil kay Kristo. Tinutugis ni Pablo ang mga ito dahil ang pakiwari niya ay sumasamba ang mga ito sa Panginoon Hesus na hindi naman daw Diyos. Eh ang batas sa hudyo  ay wag ka sasamba kundi sa Diyos lamang. At yun ang pinanainiwalaan ni Pablo. Mabigat ang parusa noon kung sasamba ka pa sa iba. So patuloy na ginagawa ito ni Pablo sa mga kristyano nuon hanggang isang araw ay

Aklat ng Gawa 9: ( Si Saul magiging Pablo name niya sa mga susunod na talata ng Biblya)

1 Datapuwa't si Saulo, na sumisilakbo pa ng mga pagbabanta at pagpatay laban sa mga alagad ng Panginoon, ay naparoon sa dakilang saserdote,
2 At humingi sa kaniya ng mga sulat sa Damasco sa mga sinagoga, upang kung siya'y makasumpong ng sinoman sa mga nasa Daan, maging mga lalake o mga babae, ay kaniya silang madalang gapos sa Jerusalem.
3 At sa kaniyang paglalakad, ay nangyari na siya'y malapit sa Damasco: at pagdaka'y nagliwanag sa palibot niya ang isang ilaw mula sa langit:
4 At siya'y nasubasob sa lupa, at nakarinig ng isang tinig na sa kaniya'y nagsasabi, Saulo, Saulo, bakit mo ako pinaguusig?
5 At sinabi niya, Sino ka baga, Panginoon? At sinabi niya, Ako'y si Jesus na iyong pinaguusig:
6 Nguni't magtindig ka, at ikaw ay pumasok sa bayan, at sasalitain sa iyo ang dapat mong gawin.

At simula noon ay tagasunod na siya ni HesuKristo. Ngayon dahil si Pablo ay naging tagasunod na ni Hesus, sa darating na araw siya naman ang uusigin. The hunter became the hunted of his former cohorts. (dating kasama). Sumamba ba si Pablo sa iba ng Diyos? Hindi. Kasi nakilala na niya na si Hesus ang iisang Diyos na  nagkatawan tao na inihula ng panahon ni Isaias

Propesiya ni Propetang Isaiah sa Lumang Tipan. Wala pa si Hesus nito.
Isaiah 9:6- 6 Sapagka't sa atin ay ipinanganak ang isang bata, sa atin ay ibinigay ang isang anak na lalake; at ang pamamahala ay maaatang sa kaniyang balikat: at ang kaniyang pangalan ay tatawaging Kamanghamanghang Tagapayo, Makapangyarihang Dios, Walang hanggang Ama, Pangulo ng Kapayapaan.

Oh tinawag siyang Makapangyarihang Dios, Walang Hanggang Ama. Ilan ba ang Diyos at Ama? Di ba iisa lang.

Hindi direktang sinabi ni Hesus na siya ay Diyos pagkat hindi pa napapanahon. Ang mga tao na ang puso ay tunay at para  sa Diyos ay duon lamang niya isiniwalat. Ang tao ay may mata at pandinig pero pang physical lamang ang abot nito. Hingin  mo sa Diyos ng taimtim na mabuksan ang espirituwal mong mata at tainga sa Salita niya at mahuhulog ang tumatalukbong sa mga ito.

Ngayon kung nais mong makamtan ang tunay na kaligtasan pagaralan mo ang aklat ng Gawa. Alamin mo si Hesus sa Aklat ni Juan atbp.

1 Timothy 1:15 ...Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners...
 Roma 3:10... walang matuwid ni isa...
at ang kahihinatnan ng makasalanan mamamatay tao hanggang sa level ng sinungaling ay impyerno.
Ngunit Si Hesus ay nagdusa para sa ating kasalanan para wag tayo mabulid sa apoy ng impyerno.
Paniwalaan lang natin si Hesus. Siya ang pinto na dapat natin pasukan at hindi sa pamamagitan ng isang gusali na pinaskilan lang ng pangalan niya. Espiritwal ang usapan dito.

Sabi niya siya ang Daan, ang Katotohanan at ang Buhay

Kung tayo ay magpapakumbaba at taos pusong hihingi ng patawad sa ating mga kasalanan at papasukin siya sa ating buhay ay bubuksan niya ang ating isipan sa katotohanan ng kanyang Salita. Bibigyan niya tayo ng tunay na Kagalakan at kapayapaan despite sa nangyayaring kapighatian dito sa mundong ibabaw. kagalakan at kapayapaan na hindi makikita sa mundong kinagisnan.

 Magpasakop lang tayo sa kanyang Espiritu. Hindi natin makakaya magbago kung wala ang kapuspusan ng Espiritu Santo galing sa Panginoon Hesus. Binigyan Niya ng karapatan ang bawat isa na sumalo sa hapag kainan ng kanyang Salita.
Pakanin mo ang sarili mo ng salita na nagbibigay sigla sa esprituwal mong katawan.

Matthew 4:4 Jesus answered, "It is written: 'Man does not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.'"
